Just became a member. Looking at buying a 2011 - and up Ford F250, maybe a F350, 6.2 Gas Engine, 2 wheel drive. I was using my old 94 Lightning Pickup for hauling my cars around, but it really just barely did the job, airbags helped, but it was just too light of a truck. I chose the 2011 & up Ford F250 because of the updated Frames, Brakes, Engine, that had taken place across the entire Ford Line. Maybe some of the members can let me know of things to look out for, common issues, recalls, etc.,
I see lots of stripped down model XL's for sale (normally high mileage), but for more reasonable prices, how hard is it to install some of the Factory updates, better gauges, navigation, (replacement engines from later models) etc.,
