ordered a 19 6.7 screw sb on 11/21. Finished production and awaiting shipment as of 12/11. Now just to wait and see how long they drag out shipping. It says estimated delivery 12/25 obviously that won’t happen.
Yea I’m not expecting it. Realistically I’m hoping for mid January. I work for a ford dealer and was able to have my priority code changed from the standard 19 to 10 so hopefully that speeds things up. I had my vin 2 days after the order processed. Maybe I’ll get lucky
I think it would be fun if you could arrive at the Kentucky plant and drive it home. I know of a motorcycle dealer in FL that will buy you a plane ticket so you can ride your new motorcycle home. Good luck waiting, hope you don't chew your finger nails off...
The wait is a killer. Ordered my 2019 F350 XLT CCSB Sept 21. Was built right at beginning of November. Shipped via railcar November 13th or so. Didn't arrive in Denver until about December 10th. Ford's website originally showed a delivery date of November 22nd. On November 21st the delivery date suddenly changed to December 18th.
On December 12th the dealer called and said the truck was in. When I ordered the truck we had an agreed price in writing. When I went to do the paperwork, they raised the price up $500. When I showed them the written agreement, they tried to say there was a rebate in the numbers. Only problem with that was the rebate didn't exist when I ordered the truck. They wouldn't honor their written price and told me I could go to a different dealer and see if they'd give me the agreed price on a dealer trade for the truck. I did just that!
I went to the dealer in the next city over and while they didn't quite give me the price I had in writing, they came close to it and less than the original dealer. I really didnt want to negoiate all over again and order another truck to wait another 3 months. So they sold me the truck I ordered from the other dealer. They were shocked the first dealer told me to hit the road and buy it somewhere else. So moral of the story is, if you're in northern Colorado, stay clear of Spradley Barr Ford. They use bait and switch tatics.
