I've been searching the forums trying to find a straight answer to this question, so please if you know the answer please tell me.
I'm working on a 1989 F250 w/460 EFI engine. The engine wire harness is chewed through in more places then I want to count (injector harness and main harness).
The question is: Will a harness out of a similar year 351 or 302 truck fit and utilize all the plugs in the engine bay?
I'm pretty sure the INJECTOR harness should be sourced from a 460, I'm just not sure about the main engine compartment harness.
Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Also If anybody has a big block harness out of an 1988-1991 F250...I'm interested. Thanks
I've got an 89 460 5spd here on my farm in west central MN. The engine trans are excellent and I will be eventually be removing them. The body is complete toast. Harness is good and if you were close you could have it for pulling it out. It'd be the best way 'cuz you could take what you need. I have no idea how to leave a contact w/o putting it in the reply. There's no email icon to open as in some other forums. If someone could tell me it'd be great.
