Sealed beam Headlight Bulbs

Sealed beam Headlight Bulbs
Sounds sorta nuts but a customer of mine asked if I had any 12v sealed beam bulbs. I told him they’d be used and he said he couldn’t find any at the parts places that weren’t halogens. He said he didn’t like the looks of any of the halogens. So I did a little digging and he’s right, I can’t find any at any of the big box parts places not even RockAuto. If I’m not mistaken they were know as H4s. Silvania & GE made them and they were everywhere.

I use older style halogen sealed beam bulbs just because I didnt want "street rod" looking headlights, but even with a full 12v I do not consider them good enough at night. I cant imagine using non halogens unless just for looks. Now I need to find some "normal" looking housings to upgrade to the twist in halogen bubls. I found my sealed beams on ebay new in the packages.
