the e-bay instrument cluster back was at a Freightliner dealer in Colorado, they had one & parts guy said they had more Ford n.o.s. stuff , he just needs part # 's
I am rebuilding both door glass assemblies with D. Carpenter stuff, the rear runs are gonna be a challenge! any tips for assembly? youtube tutorial?
bought a S.W. tach. from Summit with black background & white needle & numbers, blends in fairly good with the Ford gauges . this truck having the factory electric governor made installing electric tach. easier because wiring harness had a 4 pole plug behind cluster for o.e.m. tach. 1; key switched 12v 2;ground 3;lights from rheostat 4;green sense or trigger wire common to coil (-) & a terminal on governor box
shunting the resistor wire (to feed pertronix) was made easier because one of the double wires at ign. sw. was about 3" long and terminated with a 3 hole female bullet outlet. only one was in use so with a male bullet on the shunt wire it was sort of a plug & play
if I can find someone smart enough to teach this old farmboy how to post pictures of this project will try
I need help finding a park brake lever rubber boot & transfer case shift lever boots ?? Everybody keeps wanting to send me the foam rubber D4TZA2A713A . I told them that in the parts illustration it shows the floor lever style boot next to the incorrect Orschlen style. To be fair about it the 2 different boots/ seals are under the general 2A713 (as are the transfer case lever boots. Once again thank you!

1978 F -600 horn button parts. this truck is missing every thing on the steering wheel except for a metal ring that is held by the steering wheel retainer nut, the ring has two plastic ramps with contact points. This is what I ordered : 1) 13A805; 1) 13A807; 2)13867; & 2) 13864 What I received was : 1) D9HZ-13A805-B horn button kit; 1) CODZ13A813-A ; 2) C5AZ13867A ; 2) C5ZZ13864B ; 1) D1TZ13A808A ; 1) C0DZ13A807B & 1) D2TZ13A809B
problem # 1 the horn button looks more like it belongs on a late 80's truck than a 78 !?!? the only appealing thing about the button is " the blue oval "
problem # 2 the horn button kit did not come with a spring & this CODZ13A807B spring is not going to be compatible with the button kit
my 71 F-600 has a more correct looking button & the wheel itself is better than than on the 78, will the 71 wheel & horn parts fit on my 78 column ? If so I still need to install these n.o.s. parts on the 71 , so the issue with the spring will still be there ! TIA

Ordered from where?
The original horn button (D2TZ-13A805-D) was replaced in 1983 (E3HZ-13A805-C), then again at a later date with the 1979 (D9HZ-13A805-B) version!
So, I haven't a clue what you bought. Plus, this is not a horn button kit and...I'll have to verify all the other numbers to see if they're correct.
Green came up with the #'s all I did was tell them that all the horn stuff was missing on the steering wheel ! I hadn't purchased my parts books yet. This Ford Service Parts box says: one D9HZ-13A805-B horn button kit SE W/O 113149 ; contained an instruction sheet, molded plastic insulator ring, horn pad assy. ( with " the blue oval"), cam ring (metal), short wire & 3) #6 machine screws. the instructions say for 20",21", &22" 3 spoke wheel Ford part # 5670--- Sheller part # 21-900-15
