This is an awesome thread... tons of information and hopefully more to come
Glad I started it! heheheh
Originally I was speaking of the rear seating for my plentiful passengers - 8 kidos at the moment
Anyway I ended up replacing our lost 2002 E350 with a 2004 E350 with super low miles in my mind.
While I was in CA picking up the vehicle I got cvcandmore [1] to put in transit 3 seat benches.
It was a quick install and they went a bit over closing to help me out.
So far the family likes them not much seat time yet though.
I have some work (my choice) to do when time permits like new carpet and removing the belts on the walls.
Also ... love the idea of Sienna seats in the front
That will be a later item for me but .. looking forward to more info on that conversion @giffenf
I'm very interested in what you did here. I actually just picked up three rows of three Transit seats to put in my EB E350 soon. I've been kicking around different ways to actually mount them, and I was curious how CVC mounted yours? I can't tell from the pictures, but it looks like they're fairly flush-mounted to the floor. There are hooks for the factory brackets that it looks like they removed. Do you know how they bolted them to the floor?
*Actually, on closer look…they don't look like Transit legs at all. Any input would be most helpful…

@Sigg Huge apologies I meant to write back months ago...
So what CVC did was just drill the floor and drop two bolts through each "leg". On the underside there is a larger, flat steel plate for each bolt as well as a lock washer and the nut (32lbs torque).
Pretty simple but it works. I've taken two of them out so I could get at the side panels and remove the overhead seatbelts so they are semi removable.
Ideally they would be on track or clip systems like the original seats but I could not wait nor had the $$ to figure that out with a fabricator of some sort.

Anyway.. Hope that helps a bit.

No worries, man. I'm slowly in the process of getting my L-track mounted and my plywood floor in. The L-track will be mounted in such a way as to work with the spacing on the legs of the Transit seats. Pretty stoked to get it all in and together. Just haven't had a lot of time lately…
