Upfitter Switches with small overhead console
My truck has the wire harness for the upfitter switches that runs from the fender to the base of the pillar. But it came with the smaller overhead console.
And before I give up on using the OEM switches I just wanted to confirm that you cannot get factory switches in the smaller console and to install a standard console would require also replacing the headliner.
Thanks for the help

The salesman forgot to order mine and I spaced when checking the build sheet. He apologized and said that he would order the trim with the switches, on him , and direct me to a ford mechanic to connect them so that no warranty would be voided. I'm going to give him a call tomorrow to insure this is possible without headliner replacement. Thanks for the heads up.

There are some aftermarket switch panels for the overhead console discussed in the following F150 forum ...

Looks like I am going to mount the switches like the F150 panel cficare linked to and use custom switches from https://rockerswitchpros.com/

I looked at a buddy's 2017 F-250 XLT and took some measurements of the console and it was the same, roughly 16" in length and same width. When the new trim and switches arrive I will post results. Keeping in mind that all the best laid plans don't survive first contact. I'm hoping for the best.
