Headlight bucket question

Will any headlight buckets from other years work in a 56 grille from the later years..?

There's no part number for the headlamp buckets only, because they were only supplied in the headlamp assembly.

This was also the case for 1957. 1958/60 have dual headlamps. 1961/66 trucks used the same buckets as 1961/70 Falcon.

B6C-13008-A .. Headlamp Assy / Right/Left is the same / Obsolete

All 1956 trucks except P series Parcel Delivery.

Pic: See black triangle for parts supplied in the assy only.

So is there any way of knowing how long they were used over the later years Bill? I was wondering if they'd be the same for as long as the 7 inch round seal beam bulbs were used, 1977 I believe..
And thanks for that info

Round 12V seal beam (non halogen) for single headlamps used thru 1979 on Thunderbird, thru 1980 C series Tilt Cabs.

1979 F100/350's sold as fleet vehicles also have round headlamps. There were also single round headlamps used on misc 1980's BIG trucks, but these use a halogen bulb.

Since there's no 1956 part number, there's nothing to compare it to.
