had this nagging air bag light lcome on for the past few months and I'm tired of it. It flickers a few time and then flickers a few times more then flickers again and then stays on. My truck is A 2006 f250 KR. I don't have the option of turning it off or on. I plugged my SCT scanner for codes but there was none. Can some one help me with this, please?
Just hit the red triangle with ! in it and ask the mods to move it. It’s on the right hand side of your username by your join date. Have you pulled the cluster to check for a loose bulb?

If I'm not mistaken when your airbag light "flickers" it's actually flashing a code. example: 3 then 4. The code will tell you which sensor or item the system is seeing a problem with. Search the web for Ford airbag flash codes.
The SCT is useless for reading that type of code and so is the SGII.
Without knowing the code I will take a shot in the dark and guess. Clock Spring would be my guess.
But you need the code to prove it and then you should use some simulators to test it to be sure
that you have the right part as the fault.
Was out the gate this morning when I remembered to count the flashing airbag light. So I turn the truck off and waited a few minutes and started again.
The light flashed 3 times and paused and flashed 2 more times long pause and started the same sequence. So code 32 is what its showing.
From the site posted above the drivers side air bag has a circuit open or with high resistance. Okay, the little research I have found says that I have to remove steering wheel to fix it.
Sore sounds like the clock spring.
The job is not that hard. But your right the wheel does need to come off. Here is the PDF for doing a clock spring. When you order the part you
also want to order a new steering wheel bolt. The reason is you only take the old bolt out part way and use that as your puller press pivot and it
really can chew up the torx splines and also the new bolr comes with some thread locker. Myself not being one to like having the wheel come
off in my hands. I just ordered a new one. The bolt is not that bad in price. Have your VIN handy and call FICMRepair.com - FORD Powerstroke 6.0 FICM Repair, PHP Tuning and Truck Parts
Mine had all the wheel control options and with the bolt I want to say it was under $150 with shipping. That made it a lot less that the local dealers
have it for. Now it's been a few years so likely the prices have changed. So call and check. If you don't have all the options it will be less.
If you want I have a broken one here I can take some photos of with it disassembled. I will have to do that later tonight.

Thanks. I've printed the instructions and will go over them. Not sure what I will do. How would I go about removing the steering wheel?
JUST don't pull the yellow tab until you are installing it.
That way you don't have to recenter the clock spring.
Also make sure that your wheels are set straight ahead.
