So my wife bought me a weather tech bedliner and tailgate mat for my new truck, the tailgate mat arrived first: I love to wrench but way to much hassle installing it. the mat has 4 holes drilled in it and 4 pieces of two sided Velcro to hold on to tailgate, I think that it would have been a sagging pos in no time, There’s exposed 10 bolts that can be removed , I removed them all and cut holes and put them through the mat, there’s also 3 pieces of plastic trim that covers the exposed top edge of the mat, another hassle, they give you no idea where to start the placement left to right. And I can tell that the first pice of anything the slides out of the box will take the trim pieces with it.
The correct bed liner arrived on the second try (not my fault) after 2 days of running my garage heater at 70 deg and even putting a good ceramic heater in box and closing tailgate for 24 hours the one side of the bedliner just wouldn’t lay down, I’m talking about a full curl on the right side, this is the top of the roll when you yank and pull and yank summore to get it out of a 5” box, today I rolled and stuffed and rolled and stuffer it for the third time and finally got it back in the box, called the manufacture and they told my wife they needed pictures and hung the phone up, So I called them and told the dude after an hour of wrestling with it it’s back in the box and it’s staying there, he issued me a R A number, and I ordered a thick rubber mat made by deezee but I’ll keep the tail gate mat. I should have just ordered a complete bedliner, 30 minutes and done,
I will say that the left side fit quiet well, had it fit right I would have kept it, instructions say to leve in sun in at least 70 deg temps , he’ll that’s July,
