Window Issues

I am having a window issue on my 96. The windows are manual cranks.The glass is rocking back and forth binding up. Is this the regulator or what?

96 or 86? Not sure if different or not.
Can you take the door panel off and watch it as you roll it up to see where it's catching? Channel look dry?
