Looking for a Ford extended warranty for my 2015. I do occasionally plow snow and it is used commercially. Any suggestions? Thanks.

 

For Cab and Chassis/Incomplete Vehicles:
• A variety of unique time/mileage/hour options and deductibles are
available within 5 years or 100,000 miles or 4,000 hours of the
original in-service date.
• Coverage begins with the original in-service date (New Vehicle
Limited Warranty start date) and zero miles or hours. Your
selected coverage expires upon reaching the earliest of time,
mileage or hours.

 

For your use there isn't really any coverage. It's a commercial vehicle. The ESP can only be obtained from a commercial ford dealership. Plans are about 4800.00.

 

For Extended bumber to bumper (almost) warranty try:

Maybe a 550 is different, and it has been a few years, but if I recall commercial use bumped the price up $150. If still within 3years/36k miles, no inspection is needed. Later than that, and a Ford dealer must complete a Ford-ESP inspection prior to issuance of an official ESP. Up to 8 total years/150k miles, in various increments and costs.

Ziegler Ford is another option.

 

You can't buy a commercial vehicle warranty online. All cab and chassis trucks are limited to a 5 year 100k or 4k hour ESP. They are not eligible for 8 year or 150k.
