Looking at 2012 F350 Dually wit 72,000 miles. Green Bay CL.
Pro's and con's of the 6.7 diesel?
I have a 05 F350 srw 6.0 but I need a dually for my truck camper.
I would think that 72K on a truck, especially 6.7, is not many. If you like the truck, and it is well taken care of and you can swing the money, the motor should be the least of your worry. If it has been deleted or molested, get an expert diesel person to check it out.
Sounds pretty good, depending upon the price. I'm up the road for you in Iron Mountain, and have been checking around. I'm not ready to buy just yet - but hopefully soon. I looked, and didn't see that one on the Green Bay craigslist. Good luck!
2012 has the least amount of power and torque of the 6.7's. That's not to say it is not a powerhouse, it is a very good motor. You'll soon see how bad the 6.0 is in comparison, and how Ford can do when relying on in-house vs. partnerships. Later years have squeaked out a little more HP and torque. Some turbo problems on the 2012's, not many. My BIL has a 12 that regularly tows 14k. No problems as of yet at 60k miles.
If the price is right, and you can get a maintenance history that looks like it was cared for, I say hit that thang.

If I may axe.....According to most of you guys, which 6.7 would be the best (power/least problems)? I was originally focusing on the '06/'07 6.0 models, but I may be able to swing a 6.7. I can't afford a newer one, so out of the 2010, '11, '12, 13, 14, etc. what is everybody's favorite?
2013s have larger brakes and Sync 2 with a larger screen if you are into the tech. Their were a couple of other updates to make the 2013s and up a littlie more refined. If I had the choice I would look one year newer.
