Sounds like that will be a good size to go with and maintain a little extra space in the wheel well for tire movement when the going gets "rough" . 1 mpg loss not even worth fussing over- that could attributable to many factors. Enjoy your ride!
I was looking at a set of these raceline wheels, how do you like them? Any issues with mounting them? A little off topic, but how did you manage to get the black door handles? I kinda like those too!
No issues so far, I love how they look. no issues with mounting. And they came on the truck aha, I've got an XLT with the full console, 4.2 Sync system.
ka_EMT, sharp truck. Did you drill holes to install those antennas? Would love to see pics or hear more about the install. I have a few I want to install on my 2019 F250 but dreading the level of effort :\
Thank You! Yes drilled two holes, 36 inches from each other, one is for my 110w race radio, other is for my scanner to monitor other race channels when I am working a desert race. Was very simple, had to pull the weatherstripping down and get my hands into the headliner to be able to access the cables once fished in from the roof. We were installing the rest of the radios and equipment so all the trim panels and whatnot were already pulled off, so it was easy to route the wires when we had installed them .
What about tires ...Nitto Grapplers...has anyone used them in the snow?? I'm thinking BFG KO2 because I've had them before and there were good in snow. Or the Toyo open county AT2 extreme..I really like the aggressive look the Nitto have.

I've used both the Nitto's and the BFG KO2 (they're on my wife's 4runner) in the snow and the KO2's are definitely better. However, I suspect the 4Runner is just better in the snow anyway. We only get snow 3-4 times a year here.
Nitto's whole line of off road tires are "Grapplers", I'm assuming you mean the Ridge Grappler from your previous post. While I haven't run those, if you're concerned about snow traction and want Nittos, the only choice is the Exo Grappler. I put a lot of winter miles on a set of those and I would say they are a great option.

I don't drive in snow all year round. And don't want a dedicated winter tire and rim package. Was hoping someone had some experience on how the Nitto Ridge Grapplers handled the snow in about 5 inches or so. Maybe someone in the Appalachians can comment since you are digging out.
