Stopped at the gas station on the way home, filled up the Lightning and the 4 wheeler. That sucker holds 5 gallons of fuel so it was easier to pump it in than using a gas can. Wasn't home 10 minutes and the daughter was waiting to take it off the trailer and ride. Cold and misting here, forget that mess for me.
I be glad when tge windshield for the side by side get here tgat wind is cold
Picked up the tractor transmission yesterday. The dumb ***(me) that rebuilt tgge shaft had the sychornizer in backwards plus a few other mistakes , 9nly had the parts diagram to go off of.
The platform bed is progressing should be done today.
Good Saturday night Stephen, Hugh and any I missed in Georgia and Hello from West Virginia.
Sorry I have not dropped in for a while but had family issues, work and home things to tend to. My mother got sick about 3 weeks ago and has been in the hospital.
So I only had time to jump on for a few minutes a day and then off running.
Hope all is going great there and everyone us ready for Christmas.
Stephen is the new job still going good and have you move to the new location? Hugh is anything new with you?

Bunch of stuff: The Va gave me a big surprise. Bought wife a 2019 Polaris Ranger 500 side by side( I been using it at the land). Got the sawmill up and running. Daughter and family wiil be here tonight for Christmas. Have parts in for Mazda had not had time to work on it.
Sorry to hear about your mother, hope she is doing better. We all know life gets in the way of things but glad to see you back.
New job is going great. We are still not at the new location because the rain has slowed down paving and construction. They are still saying mid January but don't see that happening either.
Bed frame is looking great Hugh ! I am a much better mechanic than wood worker.
The daughter has been riding the heck out of the 4 wheeler since I brought it home.. Still needs a little adjustment on the air fuel mixture but it runs real good. Called the Kawasaki place yesterday and asked how much they would charge to adjust the carbs. He asked me did it have aftermarket exhaust and air filter but instead of answering me he kept trying to say it needed the carbs cleaned and upsell a bigger jet kit. I kept trying to tell him it had the bigger jets already and they were just rebuilt but he would not listen. He finally said 90 bucks but could not get to it till after the 1st of the year. I will buy an adjustment tool and do it myself for 1/2 the price! The rear brake cables need to be lubed really good or replaced. They work but not real good from sitting for so long.
Going to start on the Dodge heater core this morning when the sun comes up. I have one more shock to install on the left rear of the Lightning. The lower grill fell out of the lightning the other day at work. The mounting hardware is cheap so I bought new bolts with lock nuts and going to put that on today. The wife wants to go see the lights at the falls tonight.
You know she going to say "Daddy that would be a great wedding gift". I be glad when I repair the shed/ shop and add the extension. Once I get the tractor back together be a lot easier. Next project is the flatbed for the Mazda. Mechanical projects Mazda , the tranny in the 250 and the 2 generators
I am a defeated man. Got the dash loose in the Dodge and was moving it around to get to the heater core out and it moved the gear selector. It slid the block behind the tire out of the way and I hit the power pole and messed up the back bumper and smashed out the right rear tail light. I can't win with this truck. I had the parking brake engaged but not enough I guess. I am so close to just selling this damn truck.
You know why? IT. is Sunday and it a Dodge does not like a Ford man working on it. Unless it is an emergency I do nothing on Sunday. It always bites me in the butt.
If I took every Sunday off I would never get ahead around here.
The only good thing is I was planning on getting a new rear bumper and tail lights anyway. The right side bed panel I was going to replace before I got it painted. It was dented and had repairs done already from previous owners. I am going to to repair the tail light mounting location for now. I guess I should be thankful it didn't kill me. I probibly could have stopped it in time if I would not have had the steering wheel laying on the seat and the dash pulled off.
Still working on my Disney plans for late March early April. Split between taking the motorhome or staying at Shades of Green. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.
