ok stupid question...maybe?

i need to replace the throttle body on my 87 4.9. will the 5.0 fit? they look simmilar. if so would there be any benefit in doing the swap?( performance,fuel mileage) a used one is hard to find around here for the six. any help would be great.thanks -chad

Where you live? I was just in a salvage yard in Enon Valley, PA. Just across Ohio state line north of East Liverpool. Their name is Feezle's. I saw several EFI six's there still with all the goodies on top just waiting to be taken off. And, a rarity around here anymore, you go get the parts yourself.

If you need the number, I can get it for you tomorrow.
