I never bothered looking for a replacement, I just did the old standby trick of rewrapping the rim with a leather cover. I bought a black one "for thick rim steering wheels" and I think I like it better this way.
Mine has deteriorated also, I would love to put on another type of wheel but do not want to lose the Cruise option! Something like the Grant Evolution GT model is what I had in mind. Has anyone replaced theirs with an aftermarket wheel and utilized some other turn signal mounted cruise? I will live with it the way it is instead of losing the cruise! Eddie how did your rewrap look afterwards? I have seen these but didn’t know how they would do around the rim to hub braces, mine are kinda wide and I didn’t think it would look right just laying open there.
Thanks and good luck

“91” F150 4x4 351 XLT Lariat
I've got one of the Grant "Signature Series" wheels with 3 spokes, and they offered a special-order optional cruise control button setup that fit inside the wheel, for either 3 or 4 spoke steering wheels. Kinda pricey at ~$150 for the cruise buttons, though. That may be a little nicer looking and more convenient than a turn signal mounted setup.
I pulled a steering wheel off a 91 F-150 XLT at a wrecking yard and replaced it on my 89 F-150 4x4 XLT. The steering wheel is perfect and I covered it with a cheapie cover so it won't do the same thing. Since I pulled it and several other items, I think I paid less than $10 for the steering wheels. You guys with 1994-newer trucks may have a problem due to air bags. My dealer told me that the leather on the wheel is actually simulation leather. I think it means vynol.

Hot-Wheels cover. Black with red flames,Hot-Wheels logo. Recieve alot of compliments on it. Ventures dept. store for $10.
Another steering wheel question. I have an 85 F-150. The wheel is very thin and uncomfortable. Do any of you know if those cheapie covers fit properly on such a skinny wheel? If not, will any year wheel up to airbags fit my column?
Thanks for the response, and I would have to agree that $150 is a lil steep for my pocket right now. I like the idea that Pastmaster had of pulling one from the J yards. I'll have to make a visit this weekend to several and see what I can come up with. Although mine is a "91" maybe I can find some others that are in better shape. I saw that "94" was listed as having the airbag installed. Is this the first year that they appeared in them?
I hate having to search all around the rim/spokes looking for the horn button! It should be right in the middle big as all get out so's it's real easy to hit when some dumb-a@# pulls out in front of ya!
Thanks guys and Ken for making this available for us.
