heated steering wheel

I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere but I couldn't find anything using the search.
I have a 2017 F350 KR Power Stroke. My heated steering wheel seems to have stopped working. I turn it on in the display but no heat. Am I missing something? It was working earlier this week but yesterday and today no heat. Hopefully someone can point out something I am missing in settings. Thanks

No, I have not checked any fuses yet. I'll try to figure out which one it is and do that. Thanks

Thanks. I was looking in the owners manual and found out which fuse but thanks for the response. I'll check it tomorrow. Looks like that fuse panel is behind the passenger kick panel.
I will report back on what I find.

That happened to my 2014 SHO, took it in and they had to due some kind of software update. It wasn't anything mechanical.

I’m having the exact same problem with my 2017.
in fact, it has been at the dealership all week. They are officially stumped. As of now they have traces all of the wiring, replaced the gateway module and the heat module. They are now contacting Ford engineering.

Have they checked the wiring in the wheel itself too? As in the heating element internal to the wheel?

I checked the fuse, it's good. I have an appointment next Friday at the dealer. Not looking forward to this

Not that I know of. They spent all week chasing communication issues with the gateway module that sits behind the touch screen. They said a replacement wheel is 3k.

IIRC, even a Raptor wheel with shift paddles isn't 15-20% of that cost. Shouldn't be close to that cost even with an airbag, which you very likely do not need anyway.

Steering wheels are between $750 and $930 plus shipping for the KR with heat (depending on adaptive cruise)

Took my truck to the dealer yesterday. Took them a little over an hour to determine the steering wheel needs to be replaced. Should be here by mid week.
