Can someone who has purchased a 2019 F-350 with the 3" receiver verify that it comes with either a hitch pin or a hitch pin and reducer from 3" to 2-1/2". I don't believe that they come with two reducers to get down to 2".
Are you sure that your 2019 F-350 will come with a 3” receiver? Ford changed what they installed in model year 2019. Here’s the deal
My 2017 F-350 Diesel 4x4 CCSB came with a 3” receiver and both reducers.
My 2019 F-350 Diesel 4x4 CCSB came with a 2-1/2” receiver and NO REDUCERS.
For my 19 I bought this reducer on amazon when I use my older 2” ball
I just bought a 2019 long bed. It has a 3" hitch. Mine had no adapter but I found a page that said it should have come with a 3" to 2.5" adapter but no 2" adapter.
Asking the dealer about this. Still waiting trying to figure it out
Regards

my 2019 f350 crew cab came with no reducers and no hitch pins.
3" -> 2 1/2" -> 2". Snug fit all around no slop. 37$
Has anyone used this adapter just to go from 2-1/2" to 2"? The little notches in the smaller adapter look like they might pose a problem with the holes lining up if used by itself. My 2018 F-350 didn't come with any adapters so I bought a Buyers Products RTA252 2-1/2" to 2" Adapter from Amazon but the holes are too small for the pin and there's tons of slop.
2019 F350 came with 3" receiver and 1 sleeve ( 3" to 2.5") with pin and clip
I like how the factory sleeve is flared so that you don't have to worry about pushing it in to far or lining up the holes. However like most have said, decent amount of slop in it.
I use this for my hitch, this thing is heavy duty!
According to reviews on Amazon from the summer of 2018, this CURT adapter, part number 45408, that includes two sleeves to go from 3" to 2.5" and 2.5" to 2" works "perfectly" on Ford Super Duty trucks. The reviewers don't indicate the year of their trucks, but I assume they were 2018's.
I'll know in a couple of weeks, hopefully, whether my 2019 comes with at least one reducer and a pin. I'm pretty sure it's coming with a 3" receiver based on the models and research I did prior to ordering. The reports seem to be all over the map with respect to whether 2019's come with a pin and at least one reducer. I've heard stories of sales people snatching them off trucks on the lot for their customers. C'est la vie.
In regards to securing the sleeves in the truck's hitch, I initially thought about having the sleeves tack welded in. But I didn't like that I couldn't remove them. I think that I've come up with another solution that allows for a secure attachment and easy removal; however, I've yet to try it. I'm going to drill and tap 1/4" holes in the sides of the truck receiver and the sleeves and put in 1/2" or 3/4" long bolts, depending on whether I'm using one or both sleeves. It may only require one side bolted, but I may do both. No way I'm dealing with sliding sleeves since I pull a conventional trailer with a 2" shank. Alternatively I may invest $150 and buy a 2-1/2" shank from Equal-I-Zer, my weight distribution/anti-sway system so that I'll only need one sleeve. Hey, it's only money, and money is meant to be spent.
