Need to install spark plug wires...but need to know which is number 1 piston and so on.. Also how to remove and install the universal joint on the steering wheel shaft......HELP...thank you!

 

Standing at the radiator, looking at the engine: number one is on the left, number four is on the left at the firewall, number five is on your right, and number 8 is at the firewall on your right. This is true of all Ford V-8s.

The rotation should be counter-clockwise. with a firing order of
1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8
