HELP Please ..87 f150

Antilock break light. stays on ...will this affect braking in any way.....Any suggestions as to how to correct. Appreciate responses.

I had this identical problem on my 1987 F-150. There are apparently sensors on the rear brakes that go south after a while. Change the sensors and I'm fairly confident that will do it. The sensors were fairly cheap but I let my mechanic put them on. I drove my truck for a couple of months with that light on and noticed no difference in the braking performance.

HELP Please ..87 f150

I'm having the same problem on my '92 F-150 Nite, the Rear ABS caution lights has been on for a couple days now. Anyone know what kind of computer i would need to pick up in order to do the RABS sytem check myself?
