Abs pump and module bad?
Some time ago, I installed an HID headlight conversion kit on my 04 F250 V10. Some time after that, started noticing the abs light coming on. Snap-on scan tool reads and pump and control module. When braking with the light on, it feels as though the rotors are warped (the erratic pulsing in the front end). New brakes and rotors so I know that is not the issue. Pretty sure the ballast that powers the bulbs has fried my abs control module. The ballast was in close proximity of the module. They put off a weird frequency that messes with other electronics close by. My radio will not play a certain station with my headlights on, and only past a certain point on the way home. Turn the lights off, radio station is clear. Now that you have the background info, back to the erratic pulsing when braking and the abs light on. When the light is not on, the braking is a lot smoother, but still not perfect.
