New Member Introduction
New to this forum.
I've had some Fords. Always swore I'd never want another A/T Ford, but here I am with a '99 Econoline 250. Worked on some Fords that weren't mine, too...
Mostly wrench on boats and heavy equipment, since I work at a marina. Gas, diesel...some of our stuff just runs on hopes and dreams.
Anyway, hoping someone can help me with the Found-On-Road-Dead problem I'm currently having, and I'd be happy to help anyone out with whatever I know.
Just for fun, can anyone guess what my username means?
Cheers.
...lots of great people here who will be able to help you with issues that you encounter.Let me guess...tv8bird...means you're a transvestite who has 8 birds.

Don't mind me...enjoy your time on FTE!!!

I no longer have it, but my first car was a '95...LX, 4.6L. I always thought it was more of an adult's Mustang. Fond memories...except its awful reliability. But it was still fun to drive and fast enough to get into trouble (not quite like yours, since '90s cars weren't THAT exciting). Blew the doors off some tuners, though.
Saw your pics, looks sweet. I would fix it and drive it, no mods, but that's me.
Before this horrible van, I also got my hands on a "fixer-upper"-- an '88 B2, all original, 5-speed. More of a downer, now. Sadly, it has sat for eight years and I will be parting with it to make room...long story...
Otherwise, I'm partial to Jeep XJs. (;
