Although it doesn't work with the factory installed compressor mounts, it works just fine with the dealer installed kit made by Mapco, Ford p/n C6TZ 19B969-B with Mapco part 183-1 compressor mount and the later D1TZ 19B969-B that used Mapco part 183-1A for the compressor mount. These mounts angle the outboard end of the compressor up sufficiently to clear the fat neck of the "non a/c" pump. Below is a picture of the later 183-1A bracket which aligns the compressor sheave with the 4th sheave at the crank.

When I acquired my 1966 f100 it came with some extra parts. I have installed most of them However I have what appears to be an almost complete power steering set up. Bendix box looks new or reman. A pump couple of lines. What is this worth?. I am going to leave the old Armstrong steering in my truck.

Here is the easiest way without different engine stands, firewall bracket and shortening your steering column. Not cheap! Reman boxes are $700-800
