Mystery toggle switch part 2

Still don't know what this toggle switch is on my 02 Limited, 18 mos later.

I did however, find a picture of an 02 that has the OEM switch in the same place as my toggle switch.

Any ideas now?

It’s aftermarket.....have to trace the wires to see where they end up. Light maybe?

Of course its an afterthought/aftermarket....but look at the picture above it. Notice the 'OEM' switch. I figured if someone knew what the OEM switch was for, then i would most likely know what the aftermarket toggle is for.

The oem switch there adjusts the position of the pedals forward and backward. I doubt the diy switch has anything to do with that, it's simply a convenient place to put a switch.

What does it do when you move it? Or are you afraid to try it, thinking in may be the unlabeled "eject passenger" switch?

Boy is it! I put a switch there much like the previous owner did to the OP's rig, and wired my back-up camera power to that location for my '02 F250.

To the OP, does your rig have any aftermarket lights mounted anywhere? Or maybe where some might have been previously?

You still have the switch opening blank, of which the toggle was installed, so you can assume that you don't have adjustable pedals then..
