Thanks. I know it's an 18" blade, but I'm not sure about the pin attachment, and whether it will work with a 'typical' new replacement blade, now that they all expect the 'J-hook' arms.
Most all new wiper blades come with adapters to fit the pin style wiper arms. If you haven't already swapped your wiper arms to the J-hook style, I would. It's an easy and inexpensive upgrade. Any parts store should carry new arms.

Why? The last time I bought blades they just went right on without any need for an adapter. Unless the spring is weak there is no reason to replace the arms.

It's not really a "must do", but personally I've had an easier time finding wipers since most new wipers are designed around J hook arms. Plus the arms were dirt cheap (less than the wipers), and I never have to worry about using adapters that some wipers require to attach to pin style arms. Again, not a huge "must do", but I prefer the j hooks.
