Well I dunno what dyno's you're used to but this is a Dynojet which is pretty much the industry standard in dyno's. These are SAE corrected numbers of course which are also the industry standard of comparison. I don't give a crap about the whole "uncorrected is real blah blah blah" talk. Everyone claims that some dyno's are "heartbreakers" but I've been on many of dyno's with many vehicles and they all read about about the same with 20hp or so as long as the correction factor is same then it's apples to apples.
All saying is 282 on a stock stick is high. Every one I have seen was in the 180-220hp range. I personally made 200 hp on stock stixs. It made 30lbs and burned completly clean.
Is your truck a Cali truck maybe?

Man I dunno, I don't think so but I'll check. It only made 215 with the chip off so that's pretty close to what you said... I didn't check boost on dyno, but it makes 23 at 6000ft. I did all the mods one by one basically and the turbo wheel seemed to make the most noticeable difference mod of the bunch.
All I can say is HOLY SMOKE! Incredible how much power it makes now. I've never installed one single 'part' on a vehicle that made this kind of difference. It's plenty fast that even with the chip off I wont ever be getting stuffed in traffic anymore or beware to guy's vision behind me, LOL. The injectors I pulled out were AA's with, what looked like, very coked tips. I did new Motorcraft cups and green 620 loctite. Gonna schedule a re-dyno ASAP and post up some results. I wish I had done this 3 years ago, all this time I been dealing with how slow my truck was.
I get 29 psi now! And get 20psi real early, prob around 2200rpm.
I had decided to go with Rosewoods about 3 years ago, mainly cause of price and rep around here. But my buddy talked me into going with Swamps. What sweetened the deal was I ordered on black Friday and saved $300. Swamps also re-burned my chip for free which was awesome. I went with 160/80's and don't regret it at all plus it gives me room to upgrade turbo later and still have plenty of injector.
Just do Stage 1 Rosewoods and don't overthink it. (Hybrids, 200 this or that, blah blah blah) You don't need it. I pulled 10-12k pounds across country many times with a very similar set-up to yours. 32 lbs. of boost was the norm and 65 up 6% grades was no problem. I am not sure what more a person could want. Your EGTs will be manageable and your power will be more than what you need. I think this subject is overthought entirely too much. Ask Glenn. He has had the same experience and he tows real-world heavy.
Oh well, the damage has been done. Post #3 was ignored. Not that I know anything but I do have both experience towing heavy and changing things around for 14 years. You'll love them just for blowing ricers off the road.

Yup, didn't see that he already did something. Whoopsadaisy. You know plenty, and experience speaks volumes over "it says this on paper". The "bigger but tune them back" is lost on me too. There are speed limits and how fast does one really need to get to 60-70 while towing? I tow as much as you do, so I have been down this road many times.

What bugs me Byron is that he came on here asking for advise and we wasted our time on him! Oh well, live and learn.

WOW, well I certainly wasn't expecting to get flamed over my injector choice. Me choosing a stage 2 over your recommended stage 1 sure offended you OLD TIMERS, huh? WOW, must be pretty shallow and set in your ways. I did carefully consider all who replyed and I thank you all. Sorry to offend if I didn't go with your choice, LOL. I didn't know there was a wrong choice to make here other than leaving it stock. Like I said I post #1 I don't tow anything extremely heavy like "YOU DO". So what's the problem? I think I made a good choice and am very pleased with them and I'm sure it will tow my
'little trailers' just fine. I'm actually posting up factual results for others to see. How many actually video dyno's have you shared? Sure are some characters on this forum I tell you what. Wasn't like this when I joined when I was a kid or maybe I haven't been active in this section enough to tell. Hell I've been on here posting up cool helpful factual stuff as well as learning from others advice and trying to help others longer than anyone who's posted in this thread, old timers.
Buying bigger than I need now injectors, planning on a bigger turbo swap in the future plan, SO I DONT HAVE TO TO DO INJECTORS TWICE, sure makes sense to me. But I certainly don't know as much as you two 7.3 ****'s do, huh?
Must be something in the "common sense water" there in Kalifornia, just look at their govt, laws, emissions, immigration, etc. So glad I will never call Kalifornia home. LOL

Holy f*** dude....you WAY misread what I said. Wasn't even referring to you bud. I guess I could explain, but what's the point? Going after California? Classic. Ah the internet. Enjoy it.
