Mirror Modification ??
I reached-out to no avail regarding the feature-for-feature swapping of F150 paddle-style mirrors onto an F350 due to the trailer towing mirrors, even when 'pushed in extending too far away from the truck.
So, new question, has anybody been inside their F350 XL/STX mirror with full view trailer cameras, heated glass and power adjustable glass panel and BLIS ? I am looking to find out if INTERNALLY the telescopic arms can be modified (shortened) to allow the trailer towing mirror head to be pushed-in toward the vehicle to sit closer to the mirror mounting base on the door.
Does anybody have access to a body-shop wrecked mirror to dissect?
