Speaking of..... I recently flew from Arizona to Sacramento. It had a small stop in L. A. Now, here we are, the plane's empty except three of us. We are continuuing to Sacramento. Before ANYBODY loads the plane, a suit comes on. Shows some sort of papers, and sits down. I'm in the very front, so, I see everything. Then other people load 10 minutes later. Soon, another suit comes on and says "oh, there's my partner".
What made me kind of nervous was the plane reversing from the loading area. Two government cars leave from right next to the plane. Did this one suit board at the plane, and not where everyone else boards??
When I land, my mother said in Arizona, there was a jet that said USA, government airliner in front of my airlines plane during take off.
Someone important was on that other plane. I know.. It was AHNOLD!!! LOL. It did, however, make me feel awkward, and a little worried. I haven't been on a plane in 3 years (before the 9/11 attacks). What an impact, the way things make you feel, after watching everything on tv.
If a pilot knows there coming to highjack a plane. They could bounce them around like a paint shaker. It would hurt some passengers but you could stop them long enough for some brave souls to get them. Go zero G and then let them land hard on the floor.
I'm in favor in letting ANY pilot carry a gun onboard (the crew, not Joe pilot). PIC (pilot in command) should have the sy in that, not a politician.
