Trip Computer Functions

If I hold down both buttons on the trip computer, while restarting the vehicle, the trip computer displays additional information.

Does anyone know what the data is for both the odo and the trip meter? I.E. what the codes stand for and all?

In addition, can these setting be manipulated to activate the instantaneous mpg function. (My 98 Expedition had this function, but my 00 Expedition does not.)

I believe on many late model Fords, you can access some codes by turning the ignition to "On" but not starting the vehicle. Then hold down the odometer reset button and a series of different codes come up: one is a digital readout of rpms.

Kinda neat to mess with, but not much help to me as I don't know what all the codes mean.
