1994 F-150 downshift problem
I have a 1994 f-150 with 95,000 miles on. It has the 5.0 engine. I noticed it would occasionaly would shift from overdrive, while not under a strain back down into second. This seems to be happening more and more.
Does this sound like a trans. going bad or a sensor proplem?
Any help would be appreciated.

I am having this problem also . I have a 1994 F-150 supercab with over 110,000 miles. The 'check engine' light keeps going on and off. The transmission shifts from OD down to 3. After flooring it,it shifts back up to OD. This is with no towing,no hills.
