I may pick up a 67 frame soon because its a short frame that I wish to convert my long bed too.
I know many things interchange, but some 67 stuff is one off.
So, are the frames the same for all years 67-72? I mean same as all sheet metal mounting points. I know they all had same wheel base.
Just making sure before popping for it...

Reason: clarifying question
For some reason my reply got lost..must have pushed the wrong button.
AFAIK the frames (2WD) are the same. Maybe the 3/4 ton being a little thicker.
Forgot what other plans you had (CV swap?)
For a 72 project, I bought a 77 roller chassis to put the 72 cab on. That way the disc brakes and P/S are there and the rear of the frame is wider so the gas tank can be laced there. This gets the tank out of the cab.

i plan to do the CV swap and axle flip. Nothing crazy just lower and make dependable is the idea.
