Alright so I’m having a misfire in cylinder 8. I have new plugs, I’ve swapped coils, I’ve replaced the fuel pump and checked no. 27 fuse. All good so far. I’ve done a manual compression test and it’s good. I’ve done a relative compression test and it failed. I also had 2 other codes. Bank 2 rich and bank 4 weak I believe it is. I don’t remember. This was a few weeks ago. (Bought a 94 Toyota pickup 4wd and rebuilt the motor in it to be my everyday driver) but I can’t seem to figure out what’s causing the issue. And ideas?
I had a misfire in my '04 Expedition that was so slight and so random that it wouldn't throw a code. I ended up replacing all eight coils to solve the issue. You easily could have switched one weak coil for another. Did you carefully inspect the pigtail that attaches to the coil?
