KOEO continuous LED/Tone
In the process of trying to debug my stumble on acceleration, my truck developed a new and exciting problem. No start with a KOEO that has a continuous LED/Tone. I have a code reader with an audio option, and KOEO just lights it up and leaves it.When it's in this phase it appears I have no spark. I've verified I have adequate fuel pressure. I used a harbor freight deluxe spark deal you put inline with the plug and I'm getting no flashing when it is in this state.
My initial thoughts are the thing that hangs off the distributor (I forget it's name at the moment) and/or the MAP sensor (which my truck has). Is there a way to test these? I'm assuming you have to pull the distributor to replace the distributor thingy? It's most certainly tucked in there way too tight to replace it where it is.
Previously it broke out of this magical state and then I'd get normal KOEO tones (44 77) and it would fire up no problem. This time it appears to be stuck and now I get nothing. Previously when running it would idle, then just flat die a couple times. This is new and was outside of it dropping dead on acceleration, but these problems may be related or just a red herring.
