Loose Steering/Bump Steer
I’m going on 2 months of fighting a bump steer problem that I can not track down. I am on a 4” super lift coilover kit with king shocks & steering stabilizers. I had a pmf drag link on the truck & took it off thinking that was the cause. With the stock drag link it still “bump steers” is what I guess you can call it. It almost feels like adaptive steering fighting itself but I’ve had the recalibrated like everyone says. I’ve got the caster right & im really @ a dead end. The front end feels so loose. I can shake wheel 1/8 to left & right with no steering input. I’m @ a dead end

I know what you are talking about, it almost seems like the steering box needs tightened up. I don’t know what causes this feeling, but I changed to the Carli caster bushings and it helped mine a little bit. This truck does not drive like my 2012 did.
