Well, found out today that the piddly snow brush/scrapper I used on the old F150 is a little to short , I used to be able to clear pretty much the whole windshield except for a little bit in the center of the window.
But its useless on the F250. About a swipe and a half or either side.
Anyone got any good recommendations for a good snow brush/scraper for these larger trucks.
I just use my tried and true rubber edge squeegee style snow broom HEAD on a 6 foot long broom handle. Works a charm. Get in the bed, push the snow off the roof, then pull it off the windshield and hood. Bingo.
This is what you need to move snow off the truck. It is not a scrapper but it is strong, large, stiff and soft on the finish The Snow Brum. at Home Depot. It moves a lot of snow at once without scratching the paint
Sub Zero
I have a SubZero 54" snow brush. It's long enough that you can reach over the top of truck roof. Yet it's collapsible, so it stores easily in my back seat. Squeegee and Brush on one end, ice scraper on other. Solidly built; it's starting on it's fourth New England Winter. Snow, slush, frozen snow, freezing rain, & blizzards.

Wife just bought one of these and I teased by telling her that if the kids school bus driver needs to clear the window on the bus, you can just let them borrow yours .. 😉
I'm with zingf82a. I use one of those to push/pull bulk snow off. Than attack the windows with a good scraper if there's frost or ice. Fortunately my truck spends almost all of it's off duty time in a garage. But on occasion it snows when the truck is parked outside at my part time job and it becomes an unpleasant fact of life to have to clear snow away. Cell phone remote starting helps in frost or icy conditions.
Ok so found one of these at the local home depot. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Suncast-...ct_description https://www.suncast.com/snow-tools/s...w-sweeper.html
It has rubber edges and a swivel head vs the foam of the snobrum, snowjoe or the hopkins one. I did not see any of those at the homedepot.
But picked up the suncast one as they only had 3 left, thought I could always take it back if I found one of the others.
Wondering if the foam would be better than the rubber edge one? Thoughts....
Yes, it may seem dorky, but this is what I went with: https://frostguard.us/products/frostguard-signature Takes a little bit of 'plan ahead', but leads to minimal scraping. Takes less time to put on and off, than scraping ice.
