AC Compressor will not turn on (07 F250 SD)
#16
What was the reason for the A/C compressor replacement in the first place? The last one I replaced, was seized so bad it caused the truck not to be able to start (due to insufficient cranking RPMs caused by the belt dragging on the seized pulley). Once replaced, and freon recharged, the new compressor wouldn't engage for me as well. After scratching my head for what seemed like an eternity, I discovered the main power supply fuse for the compressor had blown. I don't remember the fuse location inside the battery junction box off the top of my head, but I'm sure you'll come across it fairly quickly if you check every one that's in the box.
