Radio Wiring
Need to know what the wire colors match up to in my truck. Its a 86' F350 XL and the owner before me had a cobbled up radio setup in it. In addition to the in dash speaker, he also installed 2 speakers behind the seat so I don't know if he tied them into the factory wires or if they are additions. Nothing was marked and there was no refence on the $9 cassette deck he had in there. Anyways, the colors I found are below:
Gray
Green
Yellow (x2)
Brown
White
Black
Let me know what you can figure out and I'll trace the rest, I just wanted to know what didn't need to be traced before I started, saves the work. Thanks

I seen this website already but it shows a generic view and its hard to use without the factory plugs still installed since there is no idea on what was installed at the factory and what was taken out/added later on.

This is from the wiring diagram (Haynes) and checking my stereo connections. If you have a multimeter (with Bat disconnected) put one probe on Fuse #10 and the other on one of the yellow to find which is which. I am assuming that you have a 4 speaker hook-up, but I do understand that like me you have the dash center speaker also. Remember that people like me don't always replace factory wires with the same color code. I use what ever I have around. Good Luck!
Gray Right Front
Green Left Rear
Yellow PWR in from Bat (Fuse box, #10) always on
Yellow Must be the other PWR, from IGN. Tap into something
that only works with key turned on. Should connect to
Headlight switch yellow wire.
Brown Right Rear (mine is Violet)
White Left Front
Black Ground
Gray Right Front
Green Left Rear
