My buddy has a 2018 F150 xlt with sync connect and he wants to know if there is a way to turn off the gps location feature that lets you see where the truck is at on the ford app. Does anybody know if it is possible to turn this off in the truck? He put the app on his wife's phone and she can see where he is all the time.

Why not just remove the APP from your wifes phone or delete the account all together from the FordPass/SYNC Connect website. Case solved.
Yes, tell your "buddy" that it can be turned off in truck.... at least on a '17
IIRC it comes up on the screen as a warning when you start the truck.
Just tell it no.
haha it really is my buddy. I am still rolling around in my 04 F150. The idiot showed his wife that app and how he can start his truck and unlock and lock it ect. The guy is a moron and she gets pissed when he hangs out with us too long at the bars.

If he has the app on his phone and it is working, its probably not working on hers.
I never could get it to work on both phones.
After 31yrs of marriage, my wife doesn't care where I am.
Well I haven't been married that long, 18 years today, but we trust each other. She can have my phone or ping my truck anytime she likes. I will be where I said I was or am going. I could do the same thing with her,
