TPMS on dually

Inside dual tires are too tight to install TPMS screw on sensors. Those that have tire monitor system what did you do to be able to screw sensors on INSIDE tires??
I removed short extensions that were on valve stems.

Thanks

I installed braided extensions, which have a bracket the you pop rivet to the center cap. I posted pics back when I did it, I think 2014.

Thanks for the information. I guess I need to get the SS extentions also.

Can you suggest a dependable brand and also the length needed for ONLY the i nside tires. The outsides are NOT a problem.

Thanks again

I have not seen just the inners. I have a link saved on Amazon, cause I gave a new dually. Still deciding if I put these sensors on when I have them built in.

Looks like they changed how the end attaches to the outside tire on them now. I like the way you're are riveted to center hub cap.

Just a note on my experience this summer.

I left on vacation w my fw, and towed 350 miles. I had a TPMS alarm about 200 miles in, but all was ok. The next morning as I was hooking up, I noticed the right rear center cap and the outside extension and TPMS sensor were gone! The inside extension was still there, w sensor and the little bracket.

The full metal valve stem on the outer wheel was sheared off, exposing the core!

Ford had replaced the rear axle seals under warranty, and apparently didn't get one center cap on completely.

Discount Tire replaced the valve stem for free, and I had to order another TPMS sensor.

The lost of the center caps and not being able to properly rotate your tires is why I switched form aluminum wheels to all steel wheels on my dually. The steel wheels only 60 pounds total over the aluminum wheels.

The aluminum wheels weigh 28 pounds each. The steel wheels weigh 43 pounds each. One would think the aluminum wheels would be a lot lighter than the steel wheels

I have the EezTire tpms system on my truck for all six wheels and the four wheels on the camper. I had no trouble putting the EezTire sensors on the inner duals, but I did not put the anti-theft caps on the inners.

Hate to hear that..........I'm NOT real thrilled about any dealers!

I only ordered the SS braided lines for the inside wheels. Wheel Masters Airless 2 hose inflation kit #WM 80022. After talking with TST Truck System i am NOT sure these are going to work with this system??
Won't know until I receive them from E Trailer
