Front camera

When I picked out my 18 F250 Lariat I really didn't see a need for all the cameras except the backup camera. Now I could really use the front camera for parking. My truck sits high in the front and it's difficult to judge how close I am to anything in front of me. I was wondering if anyone has added a camera to the front and how you did it. I'm looking at a license plate camera and a clip on rear view mirror monitor. Thoughts? Thanks.

I ordered a harness from https://naviks.com/ and installed a front cam on my own.

I bought one of these and ran it thru an upfitter switch. Easy and no need to clutter the dash with monitors, etc.

Can you give more details? Does it integrate with your factory Sync Screen?

I'm guessing that this works through the infotainment screen and requires reprogramming through forscan. I have everything to use forscan but I'm worried I'll wind up with a 65K toaster. I'm NOT a computer genius.

I like this. Probably a bit of a learning curve gauging the tone to distance. I've already got 3 screens to look at. 5 when towing my TT. I really don't need anymore. Thanks.
