1994 F250 7.3 IDI Bizarre new probs

Hi everyone- This is my first post so please forgive any newbie slip ups. I just finished putting a new nose on my F-250 after absolutely destroying some poor lady's Prius. Since I got it back on the road some odd issues have cropped up. I'm not sure if they are related or just coincidence. The first thing I noticed was that I obviously have some sort of glow plug issue. It's turning colder here in Austin and the colder it's getting, the longer it takes to start. I realized shortly after that my coolant temp gauge isn't working at all. It wasn't that big of a deal because I just plug the heater in and it starts like a champ every morning. Figured I'd address the issue when I had some more time, money, and daylight after work.

The next thing that started going wrong was the O/D light flashing. After a couple of days I realized that when I'm on the accelerator it stops flashing. When I let up - starts flashing again. The next day I noticed that the tachometer also only works when I'm on the gas. When I'm on it, the tach works fine. When I let up - no tach.

To top it all off. The ABS and brake lights are both on intermittently. This might have something to do with my brakes locking up and 4 tons of truck sliding into the back of that Prius.

I'm going to pull the codes today to start trying to diagnose things but I thought maybe, if I'm lucky, one of you know exactly what's wrong. Or at least you might have some good advice.

Thanks in advance - Jason

Probably a bad sending unit to the temp gauge, probably some failed glow plugs (if so,replace with motorcraft only) a ground issue is common too,for the plug issue and probably a tach sensor is the reason for the bad tach and the flashing OD light to the trans.

Oh. Bypass the ABS unit with a section of brake line. Bleed the brakes after from longest line to shortest. Pass rear, drivers rear, pass front, driver front. You can replace the unit if you want and like rear ABS but it's pricey.
