Thumbs up Cheap tablet for the Android apps??

Looking to try to pick up a cheap Kindle Fire 7 pretty soon during all those crazy sales. Would this work well?

https://smile.amazon.com/All-New-Ama...eywords=kindle

Unsure what I would need to make a buzz test and a contribution test, if possible on the 7.3. My Edge reads basically all the stuff, but a larger screen for if I go down hard would be a bonus. Furthermore, is it Torque App I need?

Thanks guys,

I have been doing some reading on this, and from what I understand the kindles won't work. I'm curious to see what others recommend though.

Kindle is locked down and the apps might not be available for it.
My kids have one and could not get apps out side of amazon.

Thumbs up

Okay cool. I will eyeball those low end ones. All I want it for is to troubleshoot this truck if needed.

I second (third?) the avoid Kindle. The app store is very limited. Get an android tablet of some type. You could even look into tablet mounts for the truck so you can have it accessible hands free. Mounting might be tough because of the ZF though...

as Jarrett said, the kindle tablets are limited to Amazon app store, and they do not work with android apps.
i made the same mistake two years ago. luckily i was able to return the kindle and i got a Dragon touch X10 android tablet instead for $109.
it does all i need from it, plus it will search internet when i am out plowing snow so i do not have to carry the laptop.
