quick question
my msd coil that's only a year old just up and died the other day, would something cause this? pull it off and found no cracks or anything,

just was wondering,

MSD = Might Stop Dead!

Those things are junk! MSD is Chinese junk. Might last one day or 10 years. I have 2 in the garage that failed within a year.

I've got 4 Motorcraft coils ranging from 22-26 years old, and still functioning well.

Yep MSD stands for My Spark Disappeared. Had the same happen to one of those coils about 8 years ago. Solution is just get a Mororcraft or BWD one.
