Can anybody tell me the availability of the crew cab underseat lockable storage tool box? Either I missed it or I cannot get it on a 2019 F350 XL/STX model...thank you.
Thanks, h20camper, this annoys me with Ford, I mean, isn't it logical that an XL buyer just might have need for a 'tool box' ?!??!? [my apologies to Ford if there is a physical hindrance with the XL prohibiting its availability]...I suppose purchasing it through parts will make it quite prohibitive...
Also on the XL/STX’s, the rear seat doesn’t lock down. That’s why I crossed off the Husky and Du-Ha options. Thinking of going with the Tuffy Lockbox. The make a full under seat one (see link below) or one that goes under the 60 portion of the rear seat.
thanks for the information, tony m 6.7...bk4gbay, what do you mean by: on the XL/STX’s, the rear seat doesn’t lock down ? That TuffyBox looks very nice (money no object)...
On the XLT and higher, you can use your key to “lock” the seat down so it can’t be flipped up. Therefore, if it doesn’t lock, it exposes those other under seat storage options because they don’t have lids.

Reason: Wording
Ya I was kinda disappointed when I learned you couldn’t get the factory storage box/locking seat on a XL/STX but I ordered one anyways haha Had my 19 350 STX a month now.
bk4gbay, this is unrelated, I hope I am not violating any posting rules, is it a crewcab, 4wd, with snow plow prep package (no camper packages)? If so, how close to level is it front-to-back?
Since you are OP, I think it will be fine. Lol. I have a CCLB FX4 w/ camper package and no snow plow prep. I like to have a little rake for towing the camper. Went and measured and looks like 2” of rake. From what I’ve read, the snow plow prep is like a factory level kit. Hope that helps a little.
On my STX for back under seat storage , I went to Walmart and bought some totes, painted them black and they don't move around due to the lip on my Husky rear liner. Cost me about $8.
The OEM box is nice since it folds down, but its kind of flimsy plastic. You might look into a Tuffy Lockbox as someone else suggested. I had one in my recent F150 and really liked it. Unsure about this version, but the F150 box was easily removable from a screw **** inside
