Heater control valve

I was researching heater control valves for my truck (1964 F100) which the replacements seem to be very rare. The part number is B8C-18495-A. I found a valve at the Summit Racing website that looks just like it, but it's listed for Jeep and Dodge. It's made by Four Seasons and the p/n is 74662. Has anyone ordered one of these as a replacement?

Go to your local auto part store and ask to see the BW catalogue. You'll find a serviceable replacement in there.

All HCV's function the same, all you care about is hose size and pull to open/push to close. If yours is on the pressure side it's probably 5/8" hose.

Comparing the picture and the old valve on my truck, it looks like the Summit valve is reversed. On mine I have one tube facing down and one tube facing towards the firewall. The Summit valve has one tube facing down and one tune facing forward.

It fits exactly as the original except the hose connection are on the opposite side. The clamp for the cable is a bit short to but it will eork
