If your meter has a rx1 scale on most meters will read up to 100, 199, or 99 ohms. Since the highest reading you will get is around 90 ohms, the rx1 scale should work. But a older style meter with a needle works better for this type of testing.

Outstanding! I have two left floating around the house still. A couple of the old ones finally bit the dust. Pretty sure that it was not the meter's fault though, in either case. One had batteries leak and I don't remember what happened to the other. Probably the same thing.
