no gas gauge
hey guys have no gas gauge weres the best place to start to fix the problem can it be a bad sending uint or in the dash pad is there any way to test the to see if the sending unit is geting power in the clip thanks

Go back to the gas tank and take the sending unit wire off. With the ley in run, engine off, ground this sending unit wire. The fuel gauge should swing full scale empty or full. Then take the sending unit wire off ground and let it hang in the air. The gauge should swing full scale the opposite way. If it passes this test, then the wiring and the gauge are good, and there is something wrong with the sending unit in the tank.
