Replacing front bed panel
I noticed some rust through at the bottom of front bed panel on my 61 flareside. I noticed that existing panel is attached to side panels with solid rivets. Also noticed there are bolts available for new panels. Is one method preferred over the other? Thanks

I am rebuilding mine and drilled out the rivets and used those holes to drill out the panel and used the bolt method. Not all together just yet, but feels solid.
If you have not ordered the panel, make sure you get one with the top mounting nuts are already in place. I read somewhere, some of the manufacturers dont have them welded in place and it is a bear to set them in.
