King Coilover vs Spring/Shock lift

Just ran across some pictures of our trucks with King Coilovers up front that got my attention. Ive been lurking in many of the lift threads and haven't seen this brought up wondering if anyone can give some feedback.

You have to cut/drill the spring bucket to install them, and you loose about 1.5-2" of shock travel. So you need at least 4+" lift for them to work right.
